Title: “Online recruitment registers a 32% YoY growth in June 2015”
It’s the age of internet. If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past couple of years, you might have noticed that online recruitment is now on the rise.
But it looks like we might have underestimated just how fast this trend is catching on.
A short excerpt: ” A new study shows that online recruitment in India has grown at an escalating pace of 32% year-on-year. The month of June registered the highest increase in online recruitment this year.”
Tapstart interpretation: Online hiring and demand for talent has increased across all sectors. So how can you take advantage of this?
- Make sure that your resume is brief and to-the-point and upload it on prominent job-search sites.
- Since most sites search for profiles using keywords, use words relevant to your job requirement.
- If the site allows you to upload multiple resumes, then upload different resumes tailored for different target segments.
- Make sure your profile is complete, especially your contact details. What use is having an excellent resume and profile if the recruiter cannot contact you?
